Drummer/Percussionist Chris Michael has been an active musician in the New York City metropolitan area since 1999. He also maintains a sizeable private teaching studio. Prior to relocating to New York, Chris received his B.M. degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and his M.M. degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Other places of study have included the Aspen Music Festival and Brazil.
Chris' performing and recording credits include: Columbus Symphony, Dallas Opera, Dallas Wind Symphony, Tim Hagans, Byron Stripling, Marchel Ivery, Dan Haerle, and the neo-cabaret band Little Jack Melody and His Young Turks.
